I caught Justin (editorial director of Antiwar.com, for anyone who somehow doesn't know) on MSNBC today; they had him opposite Cliff Kincaid in a discussion about lagging military recruitment. Kincaid says it's because of the liberal media's portrayal of the situation in Iraq and the fact that they always dwell on the negative. (You're talking about the same media that relentlessly pushed for this war, repeated all the lies, believed all the liars, echoed all the propaganda, for months and months and months, such that the only way to get some semblance of reality was to read international papers?)
Justin was hysterical, not to mention spot on. He mentioned the congressmen, both Democrat and Republican, who are calling for a timetable for withdrawal, and rubbed it in Kincaid's face by describing Paul as "a very conservative Republican."
My favorite part, though, was when Justin said Kincaid was a Soviet-style propagandist who wanted a lapdog media that slavishly repeated only what the regime wanted people to hear. "This is America, buddy," Justin said. "Get used to it."
