Fascist Fox News Channel is America's Enemy

Once again one of the bloviating, blabbering blowhards on the Fox News Channel is calling for the trashing of constitutional liberty, suspending centuries-old norms of civilization, such as just war theory, and everything that America's founders hoped this country would stand for because "It's a different world now after 9/11."

This of course is the all-purpose Fox News Channel mantra/excuse for advocating that we turn America into a fascist, imperialist, militarized state that perpetually lies to the public while destroying what's left of its liberties.

This time it's Fathead O'Reilly, pretending to be mourning the Pope, reminding us all over and over and over again that he's Catholic, but pronouncing that the next Pope "has got to get behind the U.S. in this war" because "It's a diferrent world now." He said this tonight on the Fathead O'Reilly Factor.

The Stooge of the Moment on the screen was some mumbling fool who said oh-so-authoritatively that Pope John Paul opposed the U.S. military invasion and occupation of Iraq because, in the past five years, he was out of it. He prayed a lot, said the Stooge of the Moment, and didn't really pay any attention to world affairs. He was probably senile, the Stooge was insinuating. That's why he opposed the war.

In other words, O'Reilly is trashing the Pope, as he lies dead, just to prop up the Bush administration and the war it has waged based on totally false pretenses. The sight of his big, fat head on the TV screen makes me want to puke.
