The neocons just hate this book. Check this out. There is no point in answering someone like this.
Particularly funny is that I sent Ms. Young lengthy, detailed replies to her questions. I phrased them in such a way that she would have to reproduce the entire sentence; she would not be able to take me out of context by ripping out just a few words. And guess what: she used not a single one of those quotations, nor did she mention any of my scholarly credentials. Just an oversight, I'm sure.
Sales of the book spike upward every time controversy about it resurfaces. I think that's why the NYT usually ignores books that aren't somewhere between Dole and Clinton ideologically.
