Elizabeth Edwards, the better half of Kerry’s worse half, has been diagnosed with cancer. Fortunately, her prospects are good, say her doctors at Georgetown. It makes me wonder, though, why would she allow herself to be treated by physicians, when her husband is always suing them for being so bad at their work? Wouldn’t it make more sense for her to be treated by a seasoned professional – namely, a lawyer? Or maybe even by a specialist – a trial lawyer?
Maybe she couldn’t afford one. Well, she should’ve asked Mrs. Kerry for a loan.
