Liberventionism

I'm depressed at the news about the IHS hawks. I'm delighted with the neologism "liberventionism" -- which I think illustrates Walter Block's point that the Nolan Chart needs a 3rd axis for foreign/domestic interventionism. But of course, it's nothing new. A hundred years ago, in Britain, it was called "liberal imperialism" ... without blushing!

Note: Liberventionism is Joseph Stromberg's coinage; he also gave us Fascists R Us for a certain militaristic site. -- LR
