Many years ago in my hometown the police, who work for what is a surprisingly decend force, thought a woman's okra garden in her backyard was marijuana. Much to her surprise, she one morning found every one of her okra plants uprooted. Suspecting vandals, she called the police, who had to admit they had done it during the night. The story went nationwide. Now, in Texas, a man finds his house stormed because the local police cannot tell the difference between marijuana and the hibiscus he had planted in his front yard.
