Writes Morton Gotcliffe:
My memory was jogged while reading Bill Buckley's autobio which mentions Murray Rothbard. I googled and found you folks. For an engineering student at Polytechnic in NY, Murray was the economics professor of choice. He was delightful to listen to as he could explain economic theory and make it come to life with a smile. The other professors, ardent communists, told me Rothbard was "mad". This of course, created a mystique of sorts around this humble fellow. Only years later did I realize how important and revolutionary this man was.
