I've had quite a few emails today regarding my article, "Anticapitalist Drivel," asking which book the faculty committee I was on did choose, as opposed to the two that I critique in the article.
To hopefully reduce the number of repetitious emails, the book chosen was The Lexus and the Olive Tree by New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman. It's a reasonably even-handed discussion of globalization that actually has a lot of praise for free trade.
