The Bush administration's meager tax cuts only serve to mask the fact that we are taxed to death in other ways besides the federal income tax.
A plane ticket I just purchased cost me $235.42 plus taxes of $49.06. A car rental that I thought was $15.99 per day ended up costing me $23.12 per day because of the airport concession fee, fleet license and tax recovery fee, state rental tax, airport security fee, and customer facility fee.
With or without Bush's tax cuts—we are still taxed to death!
